Digital
Nicaragua has been testing ISDB-T digital terrestrial signals since 2018, but the development and deployment of the platform, despite some channels owned by the Ortegas switching to 16:9 broadcasts, is sluggish. Telcor has talked little about the subject, and as of 2023, not every channel owned by the Ortegas has started digital terrestrial broadcasts.
