CenturyLink, Inc. is the third-largest telecommunications company in the United States, mainly providing communications and data services to residential, business, governmental and wholesale customers. In select markets, they also provide internet protocol television (IPTV), called Prism TV. Future expansion of the IPTV service is dependent on telephone land-line upgrades from copper to fiber-optics; DirecTV is offered as a bundle alternative in areas where Prism TV is not or not yet available.
