Sports Channels which broadcast sporting events or news such as British Eurosport, Sky Sports and MUTV

Shopping Channels which showcase products available to buy such as QVC, Thomas Cook TV and bid-up.tv
Music Channels which broadcast music videos such as MTV, VH1 and The Box
International Channels which broadcast from foreign countries (sometimes in foreign languages) such as Zee TV, B4U Movies and Sony Entertainment Television Asia
Religion Channels which broadcast programming decidated to a certain religion such as God Channel
Radio Channels which broadcast in audio only such as BBC Radio 1, Capital FM and Virgin Radio
