Starting mid-2010, Movistar drops the thematics packages system and merges all of them (except the premium movies, sports, HD, and adult) into a single package: Preferido. Other two packages were created: a lowest called Plan Básico, and an upper named Plan Top, launched in April (originally setled for September 2010 but delayed) with new channels added to the lineup. However, unlike other countries where most of them were already on lineup sorted on their respective categories, they were isolated on an especific EPG category (7xx).
